2013 - Responsible for the design of 3 heap leaching piles, while training 1 junior engineer and 1 engineering assistant, under the supervision of senior engineer. The design involved analyzing geotechnical investigation data (field and laboratory), producing cross-sections, a geotechnical specification for a complementary geotechnical investigation, calculating the size, stability, drainage system and cover for the heap leaching piles and developing all the engineered drawings for execution.
2013 - Responsible for the design of one heap leaching pile and one water supply dam, while training one junior engineer and one engineering assistant, under the supervision of my senior engineer. The design involved geotechnical investigation data, sizing, stability, drainage system and cover for the heap leaching piles and the dam, defining instrumentation plan, elaborating a user operation manual for the dam and developing all the engineered drawings for execution of the two structures.
2013 - Responsible for a team of two junior engineers and one CAD specialist in the design of a heap leaching pile that had already been started without any drainage system built in. The challenge involved designing a drainage system that would be enough for the pile, the execution of an experimental embankment to define the best compaction for the mineral in the heap leaching pile, elaborating a geotechnical specification for a complementary geotechnical investigation (field and laboratory), and final design report and engineered drawings.
2013 - Responsible for planning and overseeing the execution of geotechnical investigation (field and laboratory) for a water supply dam, and responsible for overseeing the geosynthetics liner design developed by a subcontractor.
